A unique vehicle in the fleet is Volgren Optimus bodied Volvo B9TL doubledecker TV9266. It is believed to be the second such bus intended for operation by Hillsbus in Sydney. The first was prepared in NSW insipid blue livery in 2014 but found to breach state axle limits so was sent to CDC Melbourne. How this one, dating from 2015, avoided the problem may be due to its registration as a Touring Vehicle.

Predating the January 2023 rebranding of the Qcity fleet as CDC Canberra, a large fleet of Fuso Rosas has been carrying the name on plain white livery. This one, 9124 (9124MO), was seen in the city in December 2020 when barely a year old.
