Brisbane area operator, Kangaroo Bus Lines, has in recent years purchased primarily Mercedes buses and Denning legacy coaches. This 2001 O405NH, 31 (KBL31) has the slightly rare Custom 550 model of bodywork and is seen near the Burpengary depot at the end of July 2004.

Mercedes O405/Custom 5 (KBL05) dates from 1999 and is a massive 65 seater. It is seen in the depot in August 2009.

No less than four Mercedes/Custom buses were lined up neatly in a row in the depot in August 2009 with 31 again third from the end. Nearest the camera are 2000 delivery 18 and 19 (KBL18/9) 510 bodied O405NH models and furthest away is another, 51 (KBL51) of the same vintage but acquired from Suncoast Pacific Coaches of Noosaville.

A number of vehicles is painted in this special Queensland Rail Bus livery under contract to the rail network to provide feeder services to the lines. This is Mercedes O405NH 18 again, seen leaving a station after performing such work back in July 2004, but it had been repainted in fleet livery by 2008, as seen in the line up above.
