A unique bus. Sydney Buses 2250 (2250ST) is the first Alexander Dennis Enviro350H hybrid in the southern hemisphere. The bus is seen here leaving the Rocks, adjacent to Circular Quay in October 2011.

The bus was on trial in the Sydney fleet and was used extensively on the 443 and 431 routes between the City, Glebe Point and Star City. In these pictures it is seen outside the National Maritime Museum.

When this picture was taken back in October 2011 there was only one other Enviro350H, bodied by Tata-Hispano for service with TMB in Barcelona, Spain.
The rear view of the 350H, as it leaves the Maritime Museum, shows well the unique livery applied to this unique vehicle.

Since these pictures were taken, Custom Coaches, the bodybuilder, briefly joined the Alexander Dennis group, which includes British coachbuilder, Plaxton. Alexander Dennis also has agreements with Kiwi in New Zealand, which is building large numbers of Enviro200s for Auckland and Wellington, and New Flyer in Canada.
