These Mercedes O405 buses were purchased by Brisbane Bus Lines and were part of a batch of six (24-29) acquired from Sydney. The PMC coach bodied vehicles were surplus to requirements when the Sydney Airport Express service was dropped when the Cityrail airport service started. This trio was respectively 3387 (MO3387) now Brisbane Bus Lines 27, 3391 (MO3391) now 28 and 3388 (MO3388) now 29. All now have matching BBL prefixed regos. |

Seen in August 2004 is this interesting Brisbane Bus Lines Custom bodied bus. Since disposed of to Good Az Gold of Windsor in New South Wales, 110OGW is a Leyland Worldmaster with Scania engine, the chassis of which was new as the working parts of 3117 (MO3117) in the Sydney Buses fleet in 1981.

More rebuilding with this pair of Morisset Bus Service Leyland Leopards, MO0660 and MO0661. The chassis were originally Sydney 1695 (MO1695) and 1684 (MO1684), but their original Smithfield bodies were auctioned off and replaced by these PMCA 160 models in 1990. CDC Hunter Valley passed to MO0660 with the business, but MO0661 was withdrawn for spares shortly before the takeover. |
