Wide Bay Transit had a sizeable fleet of Leylands, many with interesting histories. This Custom bodied Tiger 87 (213GJM) was new to North & Western in Sydney as MO613 in 1984 and passed into the Sydney Buses fleet as 3580 (MO7872) when N&W was acquired by the state. It joined Wide Bay with their acquisition of the Bay Bus & Coach business, but has since been withdrawn. |

Surfside Buslines 566 (MO1684) is a 1992 Hino RG197K, but with Custom 51 seat dual entrance body. The bus was new to North and Western, then registered MO5680 and passed with the N&W operation to Sydney Buses as their 3547. Before sale to Surfside, it was leased by Sydney to ACTION, Canberra during August to October 2001 as initially as BUS165, but then reregistered as BUS171. |
North & Western's Denning Landser, TV3715, really did not fit into Sydney Buses fleet and it spent time languishing at Leichhardt, Tempe and Ryde depots before being acquired by Sydney Coachlines in August 2002. It is seen in their yard in March 2017.
