Yass Canberra Coaches started with a mail service between the two places in 1954 but the name Transborder Express did not appear until 1983. The Lever Coachlines name was acquired in 1999 as a coach subsidiary. The company was acquired by Deane's Buslines in 2008. Seen in January 2009, under Deane's ownership, this two year old Coach Design bodied Mercedes O500RF, 66 (MO49) is seen at Sydney Central.

This similar 2008 O500RF, 271 (6626MO) was seen on a visit to the Qcity Queanbeyan depot in April 2014 When new the coach had rego MO8.

The Mercedes O500RF from Sydney was seen again, with new identity 266 (6618MO). The coach was given CDC Tours livery in 2020 and transferred to the Sydney fleet at St Mary's. Alongside is sister vehicle 267 (6155MO) delivered with 266 and once sported rego MO5.
