V-Line replacement work is a major source of income for so many Victorian operators, one wonders if the railway will ever be able to manage without coaches. Back in October 2012 Volgren bodied Volvo B7R 2021AO is on rail replacement work at Traralgon.

Dating from 2010, a year younger than 2021AO, is 2044AO on the same rail replacement contract at Morwell. Both coaches have bodies built in Malaysia.

One of the many coaches at the 2011 Melbourne Cup was Warragul Bus Lines tri-axle Coach Design bodied Mercedes O500RF, 2035AO.

A year later the coach was in Flinders Street in the city. It has since been transferred within the Dineen Group to Berwick Bus Lines, but joined the group after working for a couple of NSW operators.

Back on the Morwell-Traralgon rail replacement was 2004 Autobus bodied Mercedes O500RF 2023AO seen arriving at Morwell. The single axle O500 was new to Forsters in NSW, which has since become part of the Buslines Group.
