Victoria's PTV livery was first established on its Metro train network with a blue base. It was followed by a green version with the introduction of the E Class tram followed by an orange version for buses and a purple one for regional trains. Initially one or two trams from all classes, except W, were given PTV livery. Strangely the next oldest trams - the Z Class - had several examples treated. Amongst the first was 173 seen here on the Dandenong Road junction with Chapel Street in December 2016. The tram behind is in the original Yarra Trams livery. One of the pair will be on the 64 and the other on the 5, routes which follow each other as far as Malvern and invariably the trams are timed to arrivie simultaneously. Go figure. The same thing happens with outes 3 and 16.

Seen a couple of weeks later on New Year's Eve, 176 is at the Windsor Station stop on Chapel Street heading to North Richmond.

On St Kilda Road in April 2016 is elderly car 119, an unusual choice for the new livery.
