Buses layover on Government Street alongside the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia and a stone's throw from the Harbour and Empress Hotel. Here 9544, again, is enjoying a break in the delightful surrounds before its next trip north. Opposite a period horse and carriage awaits a much shorter journey.

When 9544 set off it was heading north, even though some might think West Sidney was many kilometres south of the equator. It is in fact a town on rote to Swartz Bay.
