These two NovaBus LFS buses - 9299 and 9318 - are seen together in the Bus Station. Whether or not the stylish pine bus shelters provide good protection from the elements in winter is unclear, but the kerbside aspect is vast should the wind be coming from that direction.

Coming alongside 9299 in this view is 9300 bound for "Staff Housing". The resort attracts a lot of seasonal staff to cope with the seasonal visitors, though the ski resort was busy in August despite the lack of snow.

The road from Vancouver north to Whistler has stunning scenery with lakes, mountains and the sea. It is known as the Sea-to-Sky Highway. Work was hurriedly being completed to upgrade the Highway to dual carriageway throughout in readiness for the Winter Olympics. NovaBus 9299 was heading south down the Highway to Squamish.
