Coast Mountain Bus joined in the annual Vancouver Pride Parade with a new acquisition in the shape of NovaBus LFS 9624. The downtown parade on 5 Aug 2007 included a pink fire engine, this indignity did not befall 9624. Unlike the famous Stagecoach London Routemaster, the fire engine acquired its coat of pink paint voluntarily! |

A nearside view of 9622 on layover at Brentwood Station at the same day in August 2007, also minus a depot code, a likely indication of how new to service the Novabus were at the time. They were a departure for Coast Mountain Bus the model having been around since 1995. A predecessor to the Novabus was the MCI Classic, a model just about retired from the fleet in 2007. |
