Strathcona also mainatins a fleet of around fifteen paratransit buses under the branding of Strathcona County Accessible Transit, unfortunately branded SCAT for short, though this bus bears the words Mobility Bus. In 2020 most were Goshen Coach bodied GMC/Chevrolet cutaways like 6007 seen here in Strathcona and dating from 2010 and seen in October 2014.

The North Saskatchewan River carves its way south of the CBD creating a vast recreational parkland and stunning views from the escarpment south to the suburbs, which include Strathcona. Climbing from the river crossing up McDougall Hill Road is NovaBus 922 seen in late October 2019.
