Another bus moving east to west was Cambus 502 (E502EFL). The bus reflects Cambus' early
association with Optare and this was one of the few doubledeck Olympians they bodied, the
last of a batch of 3 seen in Cambridge in Summer 2000, its last summer
with Cambus.

Making an interesting contrast is this early Roe bodied Olympian, originally Bristol 9533
(NTC132Y). The Optare design on the Cambus Olympian bus was based on the original Roe product
and built in the same factory in Leeds. Still in Stagecoach stripes, now Stagecoach 14294,
the Olympian is seen in service in Gloucester in May 2005.
