Whilst the oder trams were not repainted into the white/red/blue colour scheme, they did start repainting the Werkspoor yellow trams into the new white and blue introduced with the fleet of low floor DAF/Berkhof singledeckers. Tram 650 gained these colours at the end of 1998. Notice that yellow tram 700 was alongside.

By late 2003 most of the tram fleet had been repainted or replaced by new low floor trams in the new colours. This picture outside Centraal shows a pair of trams of contrasting vintage, with Werkspoor 626 nearer the camera.

In November 1999, several trams had adopted the white and blue, though the old yellow was still the obvious order of the day. As this rear view of 653 shows, the livery does invite graffiti artists to better display their 'skills'.
