Undoubtedly flagships in the fleet are the company's Plaxton Elite bodied Scania K440EB coaches. Eight arrived in 2017, all on the South Island, bar one, the All Blacks' team coach. This is one of the five from 2018, 1136 (LRU606), at the Cruise Ship Wharf to greet arriving tour passengers in February 2020.

Also awaiting arrivals was 1134 (LRU605) in a non standard livery.

The rear nearside view of 1136. Certainly there is nothing like this elsewhere in New Zealand. These are believed to be the first Elites built on Scania chassis, though Plaxton has built on Scania before, but more interesting is that the bodies have had to be re-engineered to the 2.5m maximum width whereas it was initially designed for 2.55m.

The interior of 1136 is as sumptuous as you might expect for an ELite.
