Melbourne based Skybus acquired Auckland's Airport Express in 2015. The operation is now as slick as its Australian counterpart with Skybus vehicles a promient part of the city scene. The New Zealnd livery is the revers of Australia's with red and white swapping places. The Ferry Terminal is an iconic backdrop to this view of Designline bodied MAN 12.280 98 (EQG818) new in 2008.

Two out of service buses. Nothing unusual in respect of the NZ Bus ADL-Kiwi Enviro200 4289 (HCG638), as their buses are often seen like that in the city. The Skybus is a 2015 Gemilang bodied MAN 18.290, 120 (JGS768), which was acquired from airport operations specialist, Bus Travel NZ.
