A slightly more modern Hino, but not exactly a stylish vehicle, also waits at the Harbour terminus. This is 24 (OX4066) a model BC144 with Coachwork International 24 seat bus bodywork. It was built in 1990, seen in 2000 and disposed of by September 2002.

Also at the Harbour, fleet number 32 may well be a recent acquistion, bereft of any stripes at all.

Waiheke Bus 27 (LO9830) is a small Hino AC140 dating from 1984. It bears 'Explorer' legends down the side. The 24 seat Hawke coach body and fleetname suggest it is clearly used on island tours, here it is on one of the quieter bus routes.
