This AEC Regent III was imported back into the UK from Portugal, where it had spent its working life with Carris in Lisbon as their 255 with the appropriate Portugueses registration GB-21-07. Its UK plate is KSV102. The vehicle was an unexpected and very welcome entry at SHOWBUS international 2005. It is representative of a large number of AEC buses that worked in Portugal in the early post war period.
