Waiting entry into service at the Santa Monica Municipal Bus Lines depot on January 6th 2001 was this batch of Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart SLF. At least that is how they would appear to British eyes. The vehicles are in fact badged "Thomas" and are believed to have been built in the States by this partner of Dennis and Alexander's then parent company, Mayflower. |

SLF200s 2607, 2608 and 2613 - the company's newsletter for customers suggests these "British style" buses were chosen after one of the company's officials travelled on Darts in service whilst on holiday in London.
