Coach USA briefly owned Eastern Travel which it merged with another acquisition, Dragon Coach (renamed Today's), and merged them both into Eastern Shuttle. Both companies had competed on the Washington DC - New York route and Coach USA used this as the basis to build its east coast Megabus network. In 2009 it divested Eastern Shuttle, but strangely still owns the mostly MCI coaches used. In August 2010 57969 is seen in New York on Megabus route M21 with a Boltbus Prevost bound for Boston behind. The original Eastern Travel also used to operate to Bolton. |

Seen in New York in July 2017 is Van Hool 56. The fleet number suggests the company vehicles may be free of Coach USA ownership, though the coach is exactly what Stagecoach is buying for its operations currently. The panda branding suggests the company still favours the Chinese community in the States.
