This ungainly shuttle bus was seen in Hawaii back in July 1989.

All manner of transport can be found in Hawaii from Enviro400 open toppers to trailers hauled by a tug. This doubledeck open top replica trolley seen in August 2004 predated the Enviros. Doubledeck mock trolleys are not unique to Hawaii but would be interested to know if such contraptions ever ran on rails back in the day.
