Nearly twenty years later in August 2004 things had changed in Seattle. Simple Metro branding had been dropped in favour of King County Metro, the AM General buses and trolleys had both gone and one hundred Gillig Phantom ETB trolleybuses, like 4121, had ousted the AMG Metropolitans.

The sixth King County Gillig Phantom ETB, 4105, seen downtown, was delivered in 2001, the batch delivery completed the following year.
