Following the eighties tram festivals MUNI developed tourist route F from Castro along Market to the Ferry Terminal Building, additional trackwork enabling it to be extended along the waterfront to the world famous Fishermans Wharf. The last of San Francisco's PCC cars maintained the service, with extras acquired from SEPTA and New Jersey Transit. PCC 1078 originates from the latter, but, like most of the cars it wears a livery to represent PCC cars used in other American cities, in this case San Diego, including an exhortation to visit their Zoo. It is seen in October 2013 near Powell Street on Market. |

In a remarkably similar livery, immitating that of Chicago, is car 1058 which was new to Philadelphia. The streetcar is seen in November 2015.
