Though the weather did not warrant it, the Enviros have these greenhouse style enclosed roofs available if the forecast is for inclement weather. Enviro 71609 is seen in July 2008 near the Circle Line city cruise terminal.

Sister vehicle 71629 is similarly adorned near the same location. The bubble dome's clear glass roof still affords great views of the New York scenery, bearing in mind that with all those skyscrapers, most of the view is above top deck height.

Not all of the New York Sightseeing fleet is doubledeck, MCI 50953 is seen near Washington Bridge. There are Gray Line/CoachUSA tours beyond the confines of Manhattan Island. The open top tours also double as a City Sightseeing franchise and are bookable through the City Sightseeing website.

To boost tourism to the Big Apple in the post 911 era, Stagecoach East London Trident TAS522 (LX51FOC) was painted in a livery to match the Enviro500 opentoppers operated by Stagecoach's CoachUSA subsidiary on the streets of New York.
