In Downtown LA in the summer of 1981 is 1118, a small front engined bus used on shuttle routes around the downtown area. The candy stripe livery is also used on the old Flxible behind, 4053, used to supplement the less robust lighweights like 1118. |

A small batch of Thomas TL-960s were bought in 2001, this one is seen the following summer in Downtown LA. Thomas are one of the main suppliers of school buses in the US and one can see the school bus heritage in the design of this bus. |
