Following on from the Orange Line in December 2009 the Silver Line was introduced. This time NABI Metro 45C rigid buses were used but in a dedicated livery. Unlike the Orange Line which runs on a reserve track almost as an extension to the subway's northern terminus at North Hollywood, the Silver Line crosses downtown, where it runs on the downtown streets. It comes in from El Monte on a busway and continues out to Harbor Gateway using the Harbor Transitway. A closer inspection of 8373 seen in October 2011 reveals that the "passengers" are stuck on to the windows.

NABI 8382 is seen on the same day arriving downtown from El Monte followed by a Foothills Transit BRT. It has stick on passengers too and appears to be out of service. It displays route 910, a variation of the route is the 950 but the Silver Line was rebranded J line in 2020, retaining the silver livery.
