 In 2016, SEPTA took delivery of a batch of 35 New Flyer MiDi MD30 buses, based on the Alexander Dennis Enviro200 built in the UK. Under an agreement the model was marketed and assembled by New Flyer and distributed under the MiDi name as the MD30 or longer MD35, the numbers linked to the buses length in feet. When the Enviro200MMC model came along future production was to bwe under the Alexander Dennis badge from their Canadian Enviro500 plant, since when New Flyer acquired Alexander Dennis. SEPTA has the biggest fleet of MD30 buses in the US. The first buses displaced the ElDorados from the LUCY university service like 4616 seen here in July 2017.
