Typical of the Boston fleet in the late nineties was this NovaBus RTS 'tubular' bus, a type in widespread use throughout cities in the USA. Bus 0151 is seen on layover in the city centre in October 1998 with an interesting auxiliary vehicle parked behind.
NovaBus 0292 is also seen in the city centre, but with more traditional Boston achitecture glimpsed in the background.
Seen out in the university suburb of Harvard is another RTS.

The 'T' has a large operational area, extending as far north as the coastal town of Salem, which enjoys both bus and rail links to Boston city.
Lechmere is a tram terminus, not too far from the city centre and a bus station alongside provides connecting services. This GM RTS is seen as dusk falls one October eve in 1998.
