Seen in Charlottesville in August 2010 is the GM cutaway of JAUNT which stands for "J"efferson "A"rea "UN"ited "T"ransportation. JAUNT was started when several agencies realised that it would be much more cost-effective to have their clients share rides and is now jointly owned by five local councils. JAUNT has grown with its own maintenance depot in southeastern Charlottesville and a fleet of seventy vehicles.
