 Thames Valley never bought Leopards, being a Bristiol RE fan - as the ECW Bristol RELH6G, 67 (KBL228L), behind this Leopard bears testimony. This Duple (Northern) bodied Leyland Leopard L2T example was one of the many vehicles that passed through the fleet in response to vehicle shortages. The former Samuelsons example is seen in Reading depot, having lost the dark blue, silver and white colours of the small London coaching unit, affectionately known as "Sammys", in favour of NATIONAL white. Note the fleetname plate above the registration, KLR456D. |
