A view of Frogmoor in High Wycombe depicting one of the later Lodekkas and a Bristol LH. The railway viaduct is about all that is still standing in this view. |

From the last batch of Bristol Lodekkas for Thames Valley, D54-D59, was FLF6G D55 (PBL55F). The bus was based in Reading, but is seen at Newbury Wharf Bus Station at the end of the 1A route connecting the two towns. Note that this batch of vehicles lacked the Cave-Brown-Cave heaters of the previous 53 Lodekkas. The bus did not live its full life with Thames Valley and its successor Alder Valley, but was transferred to Scotland as Western SMT 2413 in exchange for a Bristol VR. This was part of a major VR-FLF swop between NBC and SBG fleets. |
