Preserved on the mainland is Ulsterbus Bristol RELL6G 2316 (TOI2316) with distinctive Alexander (Belfast) bodywork. The Ulster twin fleets built up a large contingent of REs and persuaded British Leyland to continue supplying them as an "export" chassis for some years after RE sales in the UK had been cut off in favour of the Leyland National. The bus is seen at the 2007 North Weald event. |

The following year at SHOWBUS, Ulsterbus was represented by Alexander (Belfast) bodied Leyland Tiger 1250 (OXI1250). Once the Bristol RE supply dried up, the Ulster fleets went to the Tiger and again insisted on the product some time after it had ceased to be available in preference to the Volvo B10M. |

Still in full Ulsterbus livery, former Tiger 1346 (TXI1346) is seen in Marlow in July 2011 operating a Buckighamshire school contract for Neales Taxis of High Wycombe. The bus was subsequently repainted with dark red trim, but darker than Citybus, disguising its origins a little better. |
