The popularity of new Volvo B9TL Wright deckers on Green Line services 701/702 resulted in a couple of surplus B7TL buses being transferred from London bus services to supplement the Green Line fleet. Volvo 32348 is seen turning off for Slough's new bus station in May 2011.

More capacity for the Windsor routes arrived in the shape of more new Volvo B9TL Geminis. Seen when still quite new at Victoria Coach Station's annex is 37986 (BJ11ECY) in September 2011.
The popularity of the service can be affected by reliability and traffic congestion. Seen here is 37276 (LK58EDL) broken down opposite Hyde Park on route from the city in September 2011. However in 2012 reliability was severely hit by the prolonged temporary closure of the elevated section of the M4 resulting initially in the deployment of extra vehicles to plug gaps in the service caused by vehicles and crews getting back to the Slough end very late. After a while an emergency timetable was introduced to utilise better the available resources.
