A new regular event is a running day in Slough each May. In 2006 we see RML2412 (JJD412D) mirroring route 441 between Staines and High Wycombe, though it is doing an unorthodox short working to Beaconsfield. The route is now First and Arriva's 74 from Wycombe to Slough only. The 441 was of course worked by country green buses not central red ones.

Routemaster RML2412 again, this time on a 353 working.

It's that bus again, this time in Slough Town Centre.

An RM, an RML and an RT in Slough's Brunel Bus Station.

Country Routemaster RML2419 rounds the roundabout by Slough Bus Station but is unfortunately lacking a route number display, though the Green line 71? under the canopy mimics neither the 704 or 705 local routes of yesteryear. The bus is thought to have come over from Windsor. In the days when London Transport operated Slough services the depot was in Windsor, so several journeys linked across there. These days First has a depot conveniently adjacent to Slough Railweay Station.
