Seen in Cambridge Bus Station is one of the first batch of London Olympians transferred to Cambus after
service in London and ousting by low floor Tridents. Behind is an earlier vehicle diverted from London to Cambus before entering service at the time of an industrial dispute in London. Cambridge crews clearly benefitted as VRs were ousted.

Former VN15 of the second batch is in Stagecoach livery, showing signs of road conditions on its side panels, with a new low floor decker in new colours behind. |

Volvo VN5 was pressed into service still in London Red and with hastily modified fleetnames. At least they found suitable blinds - no easy task with London style destination boxes.
|
Olympian VN7 in Cambridge Bus Station did not do so well in the destination blind department.
