An interesting mix of vehicles surrounded Rally Control. The pairing of former LT rear
engined AEC Merlin MB641 with the former East Kent AEC Swift failed due to the
ultimate non appearance of both, but the Yarmouth ECW bodied Swift appeared unexpectedly
and was slotted in to replace the entry which was known to not be coming, even then it
remained the only rear engined AEC.

A nice line up of old AECs was achieved, with David Whitaker's award winning ex Provincial
Regent II and Regal 4, Tony Peart's Rotherham Regent III, alongside Reading's lowbridge model
and a former Barton model and all only a stone's throw from the RT line up.

An interesting pair of Dennis Darts from Milton Keynes' MK Metro fleet. Both bodied by the former
Wadham Stringer operation down in Waterlooville, W3CTS was new to Cheney at nearby Banbury and
the reregistered orange Dart is believed to be one of the buses new to Limebourne in London
and whcih ended up with Connex. Its orange livery promotes its usual route working. Both are
examples of vehicles acquired to meet the growing demand for capacity on MK city services.
