The BUSES60 display ended up stretching a bit too far, though there was plenty of room, unfortunately they obscured to impressive display of six Bristol Greyhound coaches. Fortunately some escaped to do Duxford Tours including the pair of vintage Bristol L machines with ECW's Queen Mary coachwork, NAE3 with exposed radiator. Leading Bristol Omnibus Vehicle Collection's NHY947, a 1951 Bristol LWL6B with ECW C35F body Bristol Greyhound 2815, is their NAE3 a 1950 Bristol L6B with ECW C31F body, Bristol Greyhound 2467.

Aberdeen's famous Albion PMA28 travels all the way from its home town to Duxford by low loader. It is seen here after from the top deck of Rally Control after arrival on Saturday afternoon.

The bus was off loaded the other isde of the American Air Museum where it spent the night with a Busworks Ribble RE which had also arrived early.

On Sunday afternoon some lucky visitors were able to have a ride round Duxford Village on the 1930 veteran. As ever we were grateful to Bill Law and First in Aberdeen for going to such lengths for folk to admire - and sample - Aberdeen Albion 79. The cherished bus is a direct forefather of the First group fleet worldwide.
