 The Sheffield East Lancs VRs were highbridge models, but M&D were no strangers to highbridge VRs with a batch bodied by ECW. Here is 5741 (KKE741N) which looks strange with its uncharacteristic deep white band as it arrives at Epsom for the Derby. |

 A mix of VRs in Maidstone Bus Station. Maidstone & District 5883 (HKM883V) is a normal height (ie lowbridge) VR originally ordered by East Kent. Next in line are 5742 and 5745, two of the higbridge models with the wide white bands, then there is a further lowbridge model. |
