Whereas most of Cardiff's fifty five Alexander bodied Bristol VRTSL3 Gardner 6LXB powered buses are probably no more, at least 360 (WTG360T) lives on in preservation. In service at the 2016 Barry Island running day its open top body proved popular with visitors after a free ride from the seafront display to the Bus Museum. The bus was new with a convertible open top for city tours and when it left Cardiff it moved to the Bath Bus Company where it was used on university bus services before being repainted into City Sightseeing livery for use in the city. It later worked for Solent Blue Line back in an orange livery as their 902 on the New Forest Tour. After a brief inactive spell with Southern Vectis on the Isle of Wight it went to the Weston-super-Mare based new Croville company to ply the town's seafront where it gained its present livery. After the 2013 summer season it joined the care of the Cardiff Transport Preservation Group.
