Bristol Lodekka Wilts & Dorset 244
Wilts & Dorset was a relative late comer to the FLF Lodekka, continuing to take deliveries of the shorter rear entrance FS for some time. Lodekka 244 (AHR244B) is one of those eventual deliveries, but seen here with a subsequent owner. The bold lettering explains its new use.

Bristol Lodekka Wilts & Dorset 691
Omnibusverkehr Aalen (OVA) of Aalen in Germany acquired FLF6L 691 (JMR821F). It was exported to Germany back in 1991 after a spell with Clan Coaches of Kyle of Lochalsh. It is kept in pseudo-London Transport livery and has had its roof lowered to 4 metres. OVA is a coach and tour operator and keeps the Lodekka for special hires, it was the second German operator of 691. The bus is seen at the 2004 Retro Classics show in Stuttgart.

Image Arts of England Bristol LD6G ECW TMW273
Wilts & Dorset LBristol Lodekka LD6G 636 (TMW273) was purchased by a company called Image Arts Of England. It is seen climbing Windsor Castle Hill on the Showbus Silver Jubilee Run from Windsor to Hillingdon in 1977. The bus was exported to the USA two years later.

Romeround Leyland Olympian ECW A990XAF
This open top ECW bodied Leyland Olympian, A990XAF, was new to North Devon as their 1819. Wilts & Dorset acquired it in 1986, numbering it 3907 and modifying it to a convertible open topper the following year. It was withdrawn in 2005 and appeared at SHOWBUS international in 2012 in Flagfinders livery with its roof on. Here it is seen roofless at the 2019 Alton Bus Rally in a pseudo NBC livery owned by Carl Romer since 2014 and with Romerbus fleetnames.

Decker Bus DAF DB250 Northern Counties M18WAL
Alongside Leicester City Transport East Lancs bodied Dennis Dominator 50 (TBC50X) at SHOWBUS international 2015 at Woburn Abbey is Northern Counties bodied DAF DB240, one of a number of DAFs newly independent Wilts & Dorset acquired from the failed Walls operation in Manchester. W&D numbered it 3149 retaining its Walls registration, M18WAL. Like A990XAF, above W&D turned it into a convertible open toppper and with a close examination of the bus, now with Decker Bus, you can still see the join. On the far right is an identical bus once with Harris Bus of Grays, whilst on the far left is former London Buses Ailsa A1 (A101SUU).
