In need of a lot of tlc is former Devon General Leyland Lion LT5 68 (OD5868),a resident at the West of England Transport Collection in August 2013, at the ripe old age of 80. The bodywork is by Weymann and sat 31.

A year younger is the chassis of this AEC Regent I. Devon General had DR213 (OD7500) rebodied by Brush in 1949.

At the time a visitor to the West of England Transport Collection, DRD765 (ROD765), spent many years in the fleet of Red Rover of Aylesbury, where it was affectionately known as Rodney. The Metro-Cammell Orion bodied AEC Regent V dates from 1956.

Devon General was an early user of the pioneer rear engined doubledeck Leyland Atlanten, though it continued to take delivery of front engines AEC Regent Vs. This MCW bodied example, 872 (872ATA), is part of the Stagecoach South West heritage fleet and is seen in Exeter depot in August 2013.

Marshall bodied AEC Reliance 9 (9RDV) was displayed alongside fellow BET subsidiary Ribble's Weymann bodied Leyland Leopard 811 (ARN811C). The Ribble bus is dual purpose and hints at what a DP Devon General livery might have looked like.
