Seen at Langley on the Road Run to Hillingdon Showbus is this FLF in NBC colours, then in service with Crosville. The bus is thought to be DFG260.
|
This photo of DFG260 (SFM260F) was supplied by the person who entered it in Showbus. The Merseyside PTE logo can be seen the other side of the Crosville fleetname to the NBC symbol.

ERG1 (OFM1E) was a dual purpose Bristol RESL6G, seen here alongside a pair of Bristol MW buses, with front grills more akin to the Bristol SU. ERG1 was another Showbus regular and the photo was supplied by its owner. |
Attending the last Duxford SHOWBUS international was former Leyland National SNL801 (WFM801K). The fleetname and "livery" is from the early days of denationalisation. These initial Crosville Leyland Nationals were delivered in all over NBC apple green and white waistbands were added made from sticky tape which peeled off all too easily!

In full NBC livery at the first Donington SHOWBUS international was ECW bodied Leyland Olympian DOG104 (GFM104X), seen here leaving the event in brilliant sunshine. It had been joined by a similar bus, EOG207 (C207GTU), in Crosville Cymru Coastliner livery.
