Nottingham was at the vanguard of bus priorities in the seventies, instituting levies on company car parks in the city and using the funds for, amongst other things, a Park & Ride fleet of Duple Dominant bodied Leyland Leopard coaches like 12 (GRC882N). As the P&R only ran on weekdays, at the weekends the coaches, branded as "Lilac Leopards" were free for private hire work and 12 is seen in Windsor's coach park.
