The Wheatley to Oxford service via Forest Row has had a turbulent past, not helped by the inability of buses starting from Wheatley having to travel on the A40 to Headington before being able to U-turn and head back to Forest Hill. The service, once run by Charlton passed to Motts Travel's Yellow Bus division with certain journeys linking through to Aylesbury and this was perpetuated in part by Arriva the Shires running 260 services from Thame to Oxford, but not via Forest Row.
