 The style of the angular Wright doubledeck body was adapted for singledeckers. Few have been bought. Delaine shunned the doubledeck version, ordering the more attractive previous design. So it was surprising when they ordered a Volvo B8RLE with the new look and it debuted at SHOWBUS international in 2018. Fortunately the Delaine livery does much to soften its appearance.

 This page would not be complete without the 2020 addition to the fleet, Alexander Dennis Enviro200MMC 167 (AD70DBL), representing a major shift in purchasing policy for the company. The curves of the Enviro contrast with the angular shape of the Wright body above, maybe doubledeck versions will follow, which would suit the more graceful Delaine livery than Wright's current offering.
