An early sign of Arriva ownership in Yorkshire was the delivery of a large batch of DAF SB220/Alexander buses. This example is seen in the Dewsbury depot in August 2000.

Another DAF/Alexander and typically of Arriva it has clear route branding down the sides.

The bus to the right in this picture is actually a Dennis Dart SLF, one from the last batch of buses
bought new by Yroskhire Buses before the Arriva take over.

|
Another two of Dewsbury's allocation of Darts are seen here at the back of the depot, bathing in the late evening summer sun. The bus to the left has now been repainted into standard Arriva livery.

Also taken in the Dewsbury depot is this picture of several Alexander ALX products.
The buses are parked alternatlely ie. Dart, DAF, Dart, DAF.... The difference in height of the ALX200
body on the Dart and ALX300 body on the DAF is clear in this photo.
