Seen in Burton-on-Trent today was 8 (YJ66APF), one of four new Optare MetroCity buses bought for Burton town services following
Midland Classic's takeover of the Wetmore Road depot in the town and most of the Arriva Midlands services in the area. Burton was the place to be today with many interesting vehicles operating on a free service every ten minutes to Beam Hill and hourly to Uttoxeter celebrating 90 years since Stevensons Bus Services started operation. Several vehicles appeared unexpectedly in the company's yellow, black and white livery.
