welcome to the showbus picture of the week

We have been saving this picture from Ed Goodridge for a couple of weeks so it would be appropriate for Christmas. Former London Routemaster RM1735 (735DYE) has been with Brigit's Afternoon Tea Tour since 2018, fitted with tables for four. It looks like during the festive season afternoon tea is being served until much later than usual. The extra lighting on the bus front goes well with the lights above in Regents Street. The bus originally left London in 1985 passing to Blackpool as their 526, moving on to Reading Mainline in 1996. In 2000 it was one of a number of buses bought and refurbished by Marshalls for further service in the capital, passing from London Sovereign to First and then Tower Transit before getting its Tea Tour gig.
