London's Night Bus service has mushroomed out of all recognition. Many routes no longer have the N prefix as they are identical to their daytime service, however the N26 differs from the daytime 26, extending beyond Hackney to Chingford in Essex. It's central London terminus is Trafalgar Square not Waterloo. First London's Alexander Dennis Enviro400 DN33621 (SN11BNJ) is seen at Trafalgar Square around 0400 today. It will not be long before the First branding disappears from the Capital's streets as the operations are sold to Metroline and transit Australia's new Tower Transit brand, where DN33621 is probably destined. |
