By August 2005 Buslink's services in Darwin were marketed jointly with those provided directly by the government using the Darwinbus fleetname and the livery used by Darwin Bus Service. Seen here is the bus which epitomised the Buslink fleet in the city for some years, a Volgren CR228L bodied Mercedes O500LE, 151 (MO2736) new in late 2004. In 2018 the bus was sold to Dysons as their 1062 (BS04BH) for primary use on rail replacement work. |

From the same batch is 166 (MO2750) on the 25 Express. The bus also headed to Melbourne to become Dyson's 1066 (BS04BL). The Buslink logo can be seen on the skirt behind the rear axle. |

A third O500LE seen in Darwin city was 164 (MO2735) which went on to become Dyson's 1064 (BS04BJ). |

On layover out at Palmerston North Bus Station in August 2008 was a contrasting pair of Volgren bodied Mercedes buses. On the left is 2004 delivery 151, seen three years earlier, whilst on the right is a Volgren CR221L style body on the O405NH chassis dating from 1997, 152 (MO2110). It joined 151 in Melbourne, but working as a driver trainer for Transdev, still in Darwin livery as their 800 (BS02OH) in 2018. Just off to the left is Darwin Bus 109 (MO3843), a 1998 MAN SL202, also with CR221L body, which passed to Adelaide Metro as their 1357 (SB60KB). |
